US rigs fall by 3, Canada up 3
The US and Canadian rig counts moved in equal but opposite directions in the week ended 22 November, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by three net rigs to 803, down 276 from last year’s count.
All rigs lost were geared for oil production.
Alaska led the notable net losses by state with three, while Louisiana led the net gains with two.
The Canadian rig count, meanwhile, rose by three net rigs to 137…
