US rigs fall by 21, Canada up 4
The US rig count took a double-digit plunge in the week ended 25 October, while the Canadian rig count posted a minor gain, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by 21 net rigs to 830, leaving it down 238 from last year.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by 17, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by four.
