US rebar prices hold, buyers look ahead
Movement in the US rebar market slowed this week as bidding begins to quiet down ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.
According to a rebar distributor in the Northeast, rebar prices held flat this week after the lower-end of pricing firmed up by $10/short ton during last week.
"Nothing has changed much in the market from last week, but buyers are eagerly looking ahead towards July's scrap trading," the distributor says.
