US rebar prices firm up to end September
Domestic rebar pricing in the US firmed up slightly at the end of September after remaining flat throughout most of this month. After the strengthening of Buy America requirements by federal agencies, Kallanish understands that demand for rebar in the US remains at a record high.
According to a Northeastern distributor, both the ceiling and floor for domestic rebar's pricing moved up by $10/short ton.
