US raw steel production inches up on-week
Weekly raw steel production in the US for the week ended 17 February was 1.721 million short tons with a capability utilisation rate of 77.5%, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute. Raw steel production increased 0.6% week-on-week. In the week ended 10 February, raw production was 1.71m st and utilisation was 77%.
