US plate prices hold steady, upward movement expected

Plate prices in the US market are steady this week but upward pricing pressure is expected as raw material costs continue to increase. After rising last week, Kallanish’s weekly A36 plate price assessment is unchanged this week at $1,850-1,880/short ton, ex-works mill.
