US plate demand, pricing hold steady
Demand continues to hold steady and prices remain firm in the US plate market.
Kallanish is maintaining its weekly A36 plate price assessment at $1,650-1,680/short ton, ex-works, domestic mill.
Pricing in the flatrolled market has been at historic levels as of late, but some softening is beginning to be seen in the sheet market, with prices moving down $20/st last week (see related story).
