US pipe, tube imports decline in February
US imports of carbon and alloy pipe and tube products declined from January to February but remain well ahead of year-ago levels, Kallanish learns from an analysis of US government import data.
Total pipe and tube imports fell 4% from January to 340,268 tonnes in February’s preliminary count. This was a 52% rise from February 2021, however.
