US OCTG prices hold, sources fear more softening
US OCTG representative product P110, 5.5-inch casing is holding between $3,680-3,850/short ton, confirms Kallanish.
“There is still some softening in certain OCTG line items (mainly gas directed items). Lead times are still late Q2/early Q3. Scrap and HRC had nice moves this week in the upward direction, so good for carbon pricing. Gas prices at the wellhead are causing some rigs to be laid down,” a distributor explains.
