US nonresidential construction spending decreases on-month
Nonresidential construction spending in the US decreased in May on a month-on-month basis, but remains above year-earlier levels, Kallanish learns from the latest data published by the Census Bureau.
US total nonresidential construction spending in May was down 0.1% m-o-m from an upwardly revised April reading and was 4.1% higher compared with the same period in 2023.
