US long steel exports dip slightly in August
Monthly export volumes of long carbon steel products shipped from the US remained approximately unchanged from July to August, Kallanish learns from the latest data published by the US Department of Commerce.
The volume of long products exported from the US decreased by nearly 0.2% in August, or 347 tonnes, to a total of 183,377t for the month. The countries that received the largest quantities were Canada (117,508t) and Mexico (50,899t), followed behind…
