US HRC increases sink in
US hot rolled coil prices have inched up, according to market sources who credit the Nucor and Cleveland-Cliffs increases with the rise, Kallanish learns.
Currently, the price of hot rolled coil ranges from $790-820/short ton. This is an increase of $20/t from last week’s price of $790-800/st, but a steep decrease from the year-ago price of $1,950-1,970/st.
