US finds subsidy evidence in steel fittings case
The US Department of Commerce has found evidence of countervailable subsidies on imports of forged steel fittings from India, Kallanish reports.
The department has preliminarily identified subsidies ranging from 2.65-284.91%. The petitioner in the case is the Bonney Forge Corporation and the United Steelworkers labour union.
The US imported $92.6 million in forged steel fittings from India in 2018.
