US, Canadian rig counts increase in latest count
Both the US and Canadian rig counts increased in the week ended 2 October, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count increased by five net rigs to 266, still down 589 from last year.
US rigs geared for oil production increased by six, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by one.
