US adds to flat North American rig count
The latest data from Baker Hughes shows the North American rig count remaining at 710 for the week ended 5 November, as the US added six net rigs and Canada lost six.
In the US, six rigs slated for oil production were added for a total of 450 oil rigs, while active gas rigs were steady at 100 across the country.
Texas added four net rigs while Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma each added one active rig. New Mexico’s count dropped by one.
