Ural Steel increases meltshop efficiency
Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZTZ)’s Ural Steel has commissioned two new benches for drying and heating steel ladles at its electric meltshop. The domestically-sourced equipment allows the firm to accurately maintain the temperature regime and helps to smelt even more high-quality metal, it says.
It will see a return on the investment in two years, the firm adds.
