Canada's Unifor ratifies labour agreement with Ford
Unifor has ratified a three-year contract with Ford Motor giving the 5,600 workers represented by the union a wage increase, including a cost of living adjustment (COLA), Kallanish learns from monitoring Unifor and Ford statements.
“Our bargaining team showed exceptional leadership and successfully pushed Ford of Canada on every front,” says Lana Payne, the Unifor union president.
Unifor members voted 54% for the contract.
