UK's TRA recommends steel safeguard extension to 2026
The UK Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has proposed steel safeguard measures be extended for a further two years through June 2026 amid fears of global steel overcapacity. UK Steel has called the decision a “huge relief” for the steel sector.
