Ukraine’s steel, iron production fall sequentially in September

Ukrainian steel companies decreased production in September amid the Russia-Ukraine war, unfavourable global market conditions and logistical problems, according to national steel association Ukrmetallurgprom. Last month’s crude steel output amounted to 558,000 tonnes, down by 3.4% compared to August but up 64% on-year, Kallanish notes.
