Ukraine’s iron ore exports decrease to EU
Ukraine reduced iron ore shipments to the EU amid the ongoing Russian invasion and blockade of seaports, Kallanish notes.
In January-April, the EU reduced imports of iron ore and concentrate from Ukraine by 9.7% on-year to 4.93 million tonnes, according to Eurostat data. In monetary terms, intake decreased by 18.3% to €574 million ($625m).
