UAE rebar retail prices plummet despite demand
Rebar prices in the retail segment are free-falling in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Some traders in the Emirates are aiming to deplete their stocks by selling rebar even at AED 50/tonne ($13.6) below their purchasing prices. The price reduction is being driven by negative global sentiment and falling scrap import prices into Turkiye, Kallanish notes.
