UAE rebar mills maintain prices amid weak demand
Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Steel (ESI) has rolled its rebar price over from the previous month at AED 2,535/tonne ($690) ex-works for April deliveries, Kallanish notes.
Rebar demand remains subdued in United Arab Emirates, however, and there are few prospects for short-term improvement, given that Ramadan is next month and is followed almost immediately by the construction summer slowdown season.
