Turkish steel exports rise in May
Turkish steel exports rose 1.9% on-year in May to 1.5 million tonnes, and their value surged 25.3% to $1.2 billion, according to a Turkish Steel Exporters Association (CIB) note seen by Kallanish.
In January-May, however, Turkish exports slumped -5.1% on-year to 7.8mt, although their value surged 20.2% to $5.9 billion.
