The Turkish Steel Exporters Association (CIB) anticipates the global steel industry will begin to recover in the second half of 2023. This will be driven by an expected easing of inflation, increase in global steel demand, and investments in energy and energy efficiency.
“We expect these to have a positive impact on the exports of the Turkish steel industry compared to 2022,” CIB chairman Adnan Aslan says in a press bulletin seen by Kallanish.
