Turkish scrap market pauses following busy week
Turkish mills returned to the market and concluded numerous scrap bookings last week following a long-lasting silence.
With prices stabilising at around $375/tonne cfr Turkey for premium HMS 1&2 80:20, Turkish mills bought mostly to cover their urgent requirements. Short-sea bookings appeared at $350-360/t cfr levels.
