Turkish scrap market follows diverging trends
Imported scrap prices in Turkey are seen following diverging trends on fresh bookings, Kallanish notes.
Although there was a US-origin deal at $462/tonne cfr Turkey for HMS 1&2 80:20 and $482/t cfr for bonus and shredded on Wednesday, most market participants do not see this deal as representative of the market.
