Turkish rebar slides amid stagnant demand

Turkish rebar producers, facing stagnation and instability of demand, have been forced to further decrease their prices this week. On Thursday, export offers for rebar stood mostly at $725-740/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, down from $750-755/t a week earlier. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod, meanwhile, were at $740-760/t fob.
