Turkish rebar edges further up amid costlier scrap
Turkish mills continued to increase rebar quotes due to the sharp rises recorded in scrap prices.
On Thursday, mills’ export offers were mostly at $655-670/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, up from $630-645/t a week earlier. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod, meanwhile, were at $670-690/t fob.
