Turkish pipe quotes slide amid subdued demand
Turkish pipe producers have decreased their export quotes from last week due to insufficient demand, Kallanish notes.
Pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade hot rolled coil were seen on Thursday mostly at $790-840/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight, down from $800-850/t last week.
However, the upper end of this range does not seem workable under current market conditions as demand remains subdued.
