Turkish pipe quotes fall further on sluggish trade
Turkish pipe producers continued to decrease export quotes this week amid weak demand arising from bearish sentiment in the global market.
Pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235 grade hot rolled coil were seen on Thursday at $950-1,000/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight. However, offers as low as $915/t fob are also available from some more aggressively-selling producers.
