Turkish merchant bar quotes soften amid stagnant demand
Turkish merchant bar producers are forced to decrease their export offers slightly amid rising competition in a stagnant demand environment, according to market participants.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $610-635/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars and IPE sections, down $5/t from a week earlier.
