Turkish merchant bar prices soften on suspended purchases
Turkish merchant bar producers have been forced to decrease their export prices after buyers mostly suspended purchases amid a falling market.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $670-695/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $680-705/t for IPN-UPN sections, $690-715/t for flat bars, and $680-705/t for IPE sections.
