Turkish longs slide amid weak demand, lower scrap
Turkish long steel producers have decreased their prices from last week amid subdued demand in both export and domestic markets, and falling scrap prices.
On Thursday, mills’ official rebar offers in export markets were pegged at around $610-615/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, down from $615-630/t a week earlier.
