Turkish flats exports rise, US ramps up intake
Export shipments of hot-rolled flat steel under HS code 7208 from Turkey increased again in August, gaining 40.1% on-month and 9.1% on-year to 283,999 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. January-August exports remained down 22.5% on-year at 1.61 million tonnes.
