Turkish construction confidence falls to new low
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction sector confidence fell to a new record-low of 56.6 in November from 58.7 the previous month. Order books and total employment expectation indices decreased -5% and -2.5% respectively to 45.4 and 67.7, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
For every 100 companies surveyed, 52.2 indicated financial constraints were limiting construction activity versus 29.6 a year earlier. 33…
