Turkish coated imports slide sequentially in July
Turkey's imports of coated flat steel products under HS code 7210 declined in July compared to June, but they rose on-year, with year-to-date volumes also rising, Kallanish observes.
At 69,679 tonnes, July arrivals of coated flat steel into Turkey rose 18.6% on-month and 25.9% on-year, as year-to-date intake reached 434,470t, up 8.5% on-year. This compared to 5.7% growth in the first half of 2022, Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data show. …
