Turkish BOF-based steel production declines steeply in July
Turkish crude steel production declined -10.6% on-year in July to 2.9 million tonnes, although this was up 8.4% from June, according to Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD) data monitored by Kallanish.
Electric arc furnace-based output fell -7.1% on-year in July and BOF-based output dropped -18.3%.
