Turkey’s first-quarter automotive production rises despite March fall
Turkish automotive production, which recovered in February, fell again in March. It declined 4.3% on-year to 136,611 vehicles. Passenger car production alone slid by 0.4% to 87,260 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Industry Association (OSD).
Total and passenger car production in February were 133,396 and 83,955 units respectively.
Commercial vehicle production in March declined 10.6% on-year to 49,351 units.
