Turkey's scrap imports continue rise in January
Turkish scrap imports, which have recovered since October 2023, continued their growth in the new year. They hiked by 36.4% on-year in January to 1.861 million tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They were also up from 1.499mt in October, 1.558mt in November and 1.664mt in December.
