Turkey’s Aslanli completes Liepajas Metalurgs acquisition
Turkish wire producer Aslanli Metalurji has completed the acquisition of Latvian steelmaker Liepajas Metalurgs after receiving government approval.
The Turkish firm previously issued a €3 million ($3.6m) offer to acquire Liepajas Metalurgs’ electric arc furnace and real estate, and promised to invest €200m in the site over five years (see Kallanish passim).
