Piombino unions urge Liberty to reveal industrial plan
Italian trade unions at the Magona plant in Piombino say that they are not yet able to express an opinion on the preferred bidder for the site as they do not know Liberty House’s industrial plan. This has been requested by the European Commission in order to complete the sale of the plant, a source reveals to Kallanish.
The follows the approval of the Liberty House bid to acquire ArcelorMittal’s plants in Ostrava, Galati, Piombino and Skopje.
