Toyota records production, sales high in FY24
Japanese carmaker Toyota has registered a record high for both production and sales in the fiscal year 2024 (FY24) ending in March, Kallanish learns from the company’s monthly operations report.
In March, standalone production of Toyota rose 9.5% over February but declined 10.3% year-on-year to 807,026 vehicles. Like the previous months, the y-o-y loss was driven by less production in Japan and in Asian countries led by China and Thailand.
