Toyota extends production cuts into June

Japanese car manufacturer Toyota on Tuesday announced its output cuts for June, following on from reductions in May because of a parts shortage resulting from the spread of Covid-19 (see Kallanish 17 May). The company plans to cut output by tens of thousands of units globally.
