Tokyo Steel to open new scrap collection base
Tokyo Steel, Japan's main pure electric arc furnace-based steelmaker, announced that it will open a new steel scrap collection base, Kansai Satellite Yard, Kallanish learns from the company’s announcement this week.
The new base will begin operation in May or June 2024. The location is set to be Amagasaki City in Hyogo Prefecture.
