Tokyo Steel cuts list prices for September
Considering sluggish steel demand and impact from low-priced offers of imported materials, Japanese steelmaker Tokyo Steel on Monday announced price cuts for its September list prices.
For hot rolled coil, pickled coil and hot-dip galvanized coil, list prices have been cut by JPY 8,000/tonne ($58/t), Kallanish learns. Quotes for HR sheet, pickled sheet and square pipe were JPY 5,000/t lower.
