ТМК increases energy self-sufficiency
Russian pipemaker TMK has put into operation at its Pervouralsk Novotrubny (PNTZ) and Chelpipe plants autonomous thermal power plants (TPP), which provide the enterprises with electric and thermal energy, Kallanish notes.
Partial transition to energy supply from its own thermal power plants has made it possible to strengthen the energy balance of production sites and reduce energy costs, TMK says.
