TMK first-quarter shipments fall, outlook negative
Russian pipemaker TMK’s shipments declined in the first quarter at both the Russian and European divisions, amid an unfavourable economic environment and oil price volatility, the company says.
Shipments amounted to 727,000 tonnes, down by -5% year-on-year, due to a decrease in seamless pipe deliveries in both the Russian and European markets, Kallanish notes. Deliveries also fell -7% on-quarter.
