Tata Steel Europe production, deliveries down
Tata Steel’s latest results confirm the slowdown in activity seen in Europe during the last six months.
Tata Steel Europe registered a decrease in production of liquid steel by some 7.5% year-on-year during the first fiscal half-year from April to September. Overall production stood at 4.8 million tonnes during the six months, equally divided among the two quarters, Kallanish notes.
Deliveries during the period fell over 10% y-o-y to 4mt.
