Surging prices help Poland's JSW post record earnings
Significantly higher coking coal and coke prices on-year helped Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW) post record earnings in the first quarter, Kallanish notes.
JSW’s average coking coal sales prices soared 231% on-year in Q1 to PLN 1,366/tonne ($310). Coke sales price rose 123% to PLN 1,976/t.
