Turkish long steel producers have further decreased their quotes this week amid subdued demand.
On Thursday, official export offers for rebar stood mostly at $720-730/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, down from $725-740/t a week earlier. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod, meanwhile, were at $730-745/t fob.
Demand, however, remains lacking in both domestic and export markets.
Some producers find further price reductions unnecessary, since demand is anyway non-exist…
